Promotion and Discipline

This Department is responsible for Processing of promotions and disciplinary cases of employees of the 27 Local Government Councils of the state.

Training and Recruitment

This Department deals with among others Recruitment and Training of Local Government Staff, handling of merger of services, Confirmation of Appointment, re-instatements, re-engagement,transfers and normal posting of Staff.

Planning Research and Statistic

The Planning, research and statistics Department is responsible for the production of statistical information, staff returns, collation of commission activities and putting them into statistical formats, Budget preparation, planning of yearly activities and provision of information for general report writing.

Accounts and Store Units

The finance and supply department of the commission is responsible for all its financial transactions and is headed by a Deputy Director.
