Introduction
This Department is responsible for Processing of promotions and disciplinary cases of employees of the 27 Local Government Councils of the state. it is headed by a Director assisted by four othe schedule officers with each responsible for a group of Local Government Councils as assigned.
Conversion/Change of Cadre
All conversion/change of cadres were based on the attainment of necessary additional educational qualifications obtained from recognized Institution of higher leraning.
Disciplinary Cases
The Commission may take disciplinary measures against Staff after due process.
- Termination of Appointment: In accordance to civil service rules, an offence may result in a Termination of Appointment of the offender.
- Compulsory retirement: In accordance to civil service rules, an offence may result in a Compulsory Retirement of the offender.
- Dismissal: In accordance to civil service rules, an offence may result in a Dismissal of the offender.
